magnificent and heavy round vintage ashtray/catch-all tray, an authentic work of art in precious crystal signed by the legendary French manufactory Saint-Louis. • Manifattura: Cristallerie de Saint-Louis (France) • Modello: Ambassadeur (still in production today in the small accessories line) • Epoca: Vintage, dating to the mid-20th century (roughly the 1950s-1970s). • Materiale: Hand-blown and fully hand-cut superior crystal. • Colore: Ruby red cased onto transparent crystal (mass coloring technique). • Dimensioni indicative del modello: Diameter about 12 cm / 15 cm depending on the era variant. • Stato di conservazione: Excellent vintage condition; the crystal retains exceptional brilliance and is free of opacity. (Note: inspect the item and specify if there are micro-chips due to age or wear scratches on the base). The Ambassadeur model is characterized by spectacular and deep external geometric facets and by a radial star pattern on the base that refracts light, creating unique reflections. An iconic object of great visual impact, ideal to use both as a classic cigar/cigarette ashtray and as a sophisticated decorative catch-all tray for entrances or living rooms in classic or Mid-Century Modern style. A perfect collectible piece to enrich an elegant living room or as a luxury gift idea for lovers of vintage design and fine French craftsmanship. #madeinfrance
