Sagrasse (1966) - Love U

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life is rooted in skilled craftsmanship. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and electroplating. The turning point in his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspended time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had kept inside for so long. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent. Title - Love U resin - Hand-signed - 2025 technique: resin Measurements: 11x11x8 cm Condition: new. certificate of authenticity - hand-engraved signature. Edition: limited edition 299 ex - red The artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped via courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious shows. Notable among these are the appearance at the Contemporary Art Show "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From craftsman to a signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how life’s experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of the imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly into the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. If the comparison to Banksy is evident for the strong satirical charge, the irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted work, designed and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of fully manual processing. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean with only a soft cloth, without using detergents.
