Sagrasse (1966) - Horse with no name

Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life is rooted in artisanal mastery. For forty years he has worked in the shadows of his workshop in a small town among the hills of the Marche region, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, painting, and chrome finishing. The turning point of his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to release the artistic urgency he had always kept inside. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent. Title - Horse with no name Technique: resin and marble dust Measurements: 28x28x10 cm Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Edition: silver 499ex. The work will be carefully packaged and shipped by courier with tracking. In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Among these, notable are his presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Centre for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Fuser Private Collection. From craftsman to name on the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse demonstrates how a lifetime's experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of the imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, bright, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse's work fits perfectly within the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret icons of everyday life or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of wholly manual workmanship. Do not expose to heat sources; clean without detergents, but only with a soft cloth.
