S.V.E. - Table lamp - Luxury - Ceramic, Steel, Textile

Atmospheric vintage table lamp with a spherical ceramic base, refined hand-painted decoration and a large cream-colored lampshade. The ceramic base is signed on the back with the initials S.V.E. This elegant table lamp combines artisanal-looking earthenware with a warm, classic design. The subtle earth tones, graceful foliate motifs and the characterful crazed glaze give the lamp a distinctive appearance. Thanks to the generously conical lampshade, the lamp emits a pleasant, warm light and forms a decorative element in the interior both when lit and unlit. Ceramic base and decoration The lamp features a beautiful, rounded ceramic base with a soft beige-to-gray-green glaze finish. Around the upper portion runs a continuous floral decoration, consisting of stylized leaves in various greens and browns. The leaves are connected by gracefully curling vines that create a playful and harmonious pattern. The brushstrokes in the leaves are visible, giving the decoration a hand-painted character. Particularly lovely is the fine crazing pattern visible over the glazed surface. This gives the ceramic a lively texture and enhances the vintage feel. The ceramic base is finished with a lightly raised, rounded top on which the lamp construction is mounted. Signature S.V.E. On the underside of the back of the ceramic base is a clearly applied signature S.V.E. The initials are visible in a dark color that matches the decoration. The exact identity of the maker or the workshop behind this signature has not been definitively established. The lamp is therefore offered as a signed ceramic object, without an unconfirmed attribution to a specific designer or manufacturer. Lampshade and lighting The lamp is equipped with a large, conically shaped shade in a warm cream color. The shade has a fine textile-like texture and is finished along the top and bottom edge with a subtle gold-colored trim. This finish harmonizes nicely with the warm hues of the ceramic base. The shade has some spots here and there. The shade rests on a metal support structure around the light source. The lamp features an electric cord with an inline switch. In the photos the lamp is shown lit, making the warm light emission clearly visible.
