S.T. Dupont - Race Machine Limit

Splendid and rare S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 "Race Machine" luxury lighter (Grand Prix), produced in a Limited Edition of only 1929 numbered pieces worldwide to celebrate the legendary year of the first Monaco Grand Prix. This specific specimen is number 0120 / 1929, as visible from the original stamped engraving on the bottom. Model features: • Finish: Palladium plating and details in authentic black Chinese lacquer. • Racing details: Lacquered ignition wheel in Racing Red and cap with a geometrical inscription of a checkered flag. • Unique sound: Iconic and crystalline metallic "Cling" sound when opening the cap, typical of Ligne 2. Condition of the item: • Mechanical: The lighter has been recently serviced. The seals are perfect, there are no gas leaks, and ignition is immediate. Ready to use. • Aesthetics: Shows normal signs of wear and small superficial scratches from daily use (as in the photos), which do not compromise its charm and shine. • Accessories: Sold without the original box and without papers (hence the bargain price compared to catalog collectible quotations). Highest seriousness. Available for hand delivery or tracked and insured shipping.
