The metal density recalls these artifacts meant to endure and protect their wearer physically and spiritually. The Cosmic Battle The image of George piercing the dragon is a universal archetype. It symbolizes the victory of Spirit over brute Matter and Light over Darkness. In Eastern Christian mysticism, the dragon embodies the ancient enemy, chaos. Saint George, by his spear, restores Divine Order. It is the absolute mastery of passions and external trials. The Liturgical Seal (On the Back) The reverse is covered with inscriptions in Slavonic (Old Church Cyrillic). It is a dense protective prayer, Psalm 90 (91), traditionally used to invoke “protection under the wings of the Most High.” This sacred calligraphy consecrates the object and activates its guardian function against traps and nocturnal terrors. The photos were taken under LED lighting with dedicated photographic equipment to faithfully reproduce the details, reliefs, and nuances of the object.
