Rare prototype Bunnykins figure depicting the legendary King Arthur as an anthropomorphic rabbit, posed clasping Excalibur with a silver-tone blade and jeweled gold handle. Finely decorated with a gold crown accented by multicolored jewels and a purple cap, pale blue tunic, grey chainmail, brown gauntlets and boots, and a dramatic crimson cloak. Raised on a grey cobblestone-form base. The underside bears the Royal Doulton "PROTOTYPE ONLY" backstamp, identifying this example as a prototype.
