Rotary Rotomatic – Vintage Swiss Automatic Watch – Gold Plated – 21 Jewels – Incabloc– 1960-1969 A charming vintage Rotary Rotomatic Swiss automatic wristwatch from the 1960s, featuring a classic gold plated case, an elegant silver-tone dial and a Swiss automatic movement with 21 jewels. The dial carries the distinctive Rotary winged-wheel logo and “Rotomatic” signature, complemented by applied gold-tone hour markers and matching hands. At 6 o’clock, the inscriptions “21 Jewels – Incabloc” highlight the mechanical specification of the watch. Its warm gold-tone case, restrained dial and traditional proportions give the watch the refined character associated with mid-century Swiss mechanical watches. The gold plated case presents scratches, small marks and areas of natural wear to the plating, particularly around the bezel, lugs and case edges. The stainless steel case back shows scratches and surface marks from normal use and previous opening. The silver-tone dial displays age-related patina, spotting and small marks across the surface, giving the watch an authentic vintage appearance. The applied hour markers and hands also show natural ageing and patina. The acrylic crystal shows signs of normal use and light surface wear. The Swiss automatic movement is visible in the photographs and is marked “SWISS – 21 JEWELS.” Although the case back is marked “Waterproof,” the watch has not been tested for water resistance, therefore water resistance is not guaranteed. Please study all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual condition of the item. Story & Heritage Rotary is a historic watch brand founded in Switzerland in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss. The company became particularly successful in the British market while maintaining strong links to Swiss watchmaking and mechanical watch production. The Rotomatic name was used by Rotary for automatic mechanical watches and became associated with the brand's mid-century self-winding models. This example captures the classic aesthetic of the era: a slim round gold plated case, understated silver dial, applied indexes and a traditional Swiss automatic movement. The 21-jewel movement and Incabloc shock-protection system add mechanical interest to its period design. With its naturally aged dial and warm gold-tone case, this Rotary Rotomatic offers the character collectors often seek in an authentic vintage mechanical watch. A distinctive vintage piece for collectors of Rotary, Swiss automatic watches and classic mid-century timepieces. Internal Reference Number - ITT-957
