Magnificent porcelain Christmas plates from the collectible edition: Rosenthal Studioline - limited art editions. Offered are the years 1978 to 1982. These porcelain plates were produced by Rosenthal in a limited edition and, at the end of production, the original mold was destroyed. The collectible edition "Christmas Plates" started in 1971. The images are the work of the Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad (1918-2006); the plate is hand-decorated over the glaze with gold, silver and vibrant colors and expresses the artist's intention to create a work that, with its beauty and splendor, recalls Christmas and represents a valuable collector's item. The title of the image is stated on the back. The plate is in near-mint condition, complete with a hook for hanging on the wall. Diameter 29 cm. Plate in original packaging. These show exterior signs of use. Non-smoking household.
