Swiss. This rare early Rolex Oyster Perpetual Reference 6298 features a stainless-steel bubble-back Oyster case with a smooth bezel, screw-down crown, and drilled lugs. The black dial exhibits gilt accenting with gold-tone applied hour markers, matching leaf hands, and an outer minute track under an acrylic crystal. Powered by a self-winding Rolex movement housed within an expanded caseback designed to accommodate the auto-rotor, the watch comes fitted to a brown leather strap. Recently serviced, this fine mid-century reference is offered without original box or papers.
