Öl auf Malpappe. 80 x 60 cm. In Holzleiste gerahmt. 83 x 63 cm. Rückseitig mit dem eigenhändigen Atelier- und Adressetikett des Künstlers („uli roesner · maler und grafiker / stuttgart 13 · grünblickstraße 2“), darauf handschriftlich in Tinte betitelt „Die rote Maschine“ sowie mit Preisangabe „DM 900,–“ versehen. Zudem rückseitig mit dem gedruckten Etikett des Malgrund-Herstellers „LUKAS / Schoenfeld“ (Sorte 630 Strohpappe, Nr. 22) sowie der handschriftlichen Nummerierung „II.“ versehen. Die ausdrucksstarke, industriell geprägte Komposition zeigt eine rote Maschinenkonstruktion und Krananlage in einer konstruktivistisch anmutenden Raumstruktur. Roesner verbindet in diesem Werk eine strukturierte Formensprache mit einer vielschichtigen, texturierten Farboberfläche in gedeckten Erd- und Grüntönen, aus der das leuchtende Rot des zentralen Motivelements dynamisch hervortritt. The reverse bears the artist’s handwritten studio and address label (“uli roesner · maler und grafiker / stuttgart 13 · grünblickstraße 2”), with the title “Die rote Maschine” handwritten in ink, together with the price indication “DM 900.–”. Also on the reverse is the printed label of the painting-board manufacturer “LUKAS / Schoenfeld” (type 630 strawboard, no. 22), as well as the handwritten numbering “II.” The expressive, industrially inspired composition depicts a red machine structure and crane installation within a space characterized by a constructivist aesthetic. In this work, Roesner combines a structured formal language with a richly layered, textured paint surface in subdued earth and green tones, from which the luminous red of the central motif emerges dynamically. Good original condition commensurate with age.
