Rob van Oosten - Negen abstracte werken

Biography Rob van Oosten (1963) began painting in his teens. By, among other things, copying 'old masters', he discovered what oil paint could do. However, his career did not go down the artist’s path; he became a teacher. He continued painting as well. For many years these were still lifes with flowers, vegetables and fruit, but he noticed that he could not express his creativity sufficiently. That changed when he started adding sand to his work and began using tools such as putty knives and steel brushes. His work became rougher and moved increasingly toward abstraction. Rob finds inspiration in life. That can be beautiful, but it also has many rough edges. The works of Rob van Oosten have found their way into private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Portugal, Spain, France and Greece. Recent selling exhibitions were at the ‘Tree Museum’ in Doorn and at ‘Castle Amerongen’. These 9 works are painted on acid-free, pH-neutral paper. The works are framed, but can easily be removed from the frame. Dimensions of works without frame: 15 x 15 cm Framed: 22 x 22 cm This set of 9 paintings is sold directly by the painter. The works are signed and dated. A certificate of authenticity is included. Shipping is carried out carefully and quickly.
