Scarce original Japanese promotional pressing of Ringo Starr's "Wings", issued by Polydor in 1977 with the distinctive white 見本盤 "Sample Disc" / 非売品 "Not For Sale" labels. "Wings" was taken from Ringo's 1977 album Ringo the 4th and was co-written by Ringo Starr and Vini Poncia. Even more interesting for collectors is the B-side, "Just A Dream", a contemporary non-album track that was used on the original Wings single but did not appear on Ringo the 4th. This promo edition comes complete with the original Japanese picture / lyric / liner-note insert and original Polydor K.K. company sleeve. ⸻ Picture Sleeve / Insert (VG): Still very presentable overall. There is a small tear to the front and some tape residue, together with normal signs of age and handling.
