Richard Ginori Mondovì - Cesare Lacca attrib. - Pitcher Paola “Anemoni” - Hand-painted ceramic - 1950/60 - number 99 Beautiful vintage Richard Ginori Mondovì pitcher, made of white glazed ceramic and enriched by a lively multicolored floral motif painted by hand. The form recalls the famous Paola series, whose design with soft, flowing lines is attributed to Cesare Lacca, while the decoration is the sought-after “Anemoni,” characterized by large blue and pink-red flowers, accompanied by elegant green and ochre plant elements. This production is typical of mid-20th century Richard Ginori Mondovì, roughly the 1950s/60s. Very beautiful silhouette, with a rounded body, flared neck, wide spout, and curved handle: a decorative object with a strong presence, perfect for both a collection and a vintage or Mid-Century setting. The pitcher is in very good condition considering its age. The surface retains a splendid shine and colors that are still very vivid. The characteristic glaze crazing is present, with fine superficial veins due to time, typical of this type of ceramic and particularly fascinating on an original vintage piece. Richard Ginori brand on the base, as shown in the photographs. An elegant example of Italian production by Richard Ginori of the 20th century, decorative and immediately recognizable for the intensity of its colors and the softness of its form.
