Richard Ginori - Dinner service (40) - Rigo in oro - Porcelain - For 12 people

Elegant dinnerware service for 12 people produced by the historic Italian manufacturer Richard Ginori in the 1950s or 1960s, characterized by an elegant polychromatic floral decoration in delicate tones and a thin gilded edge. The decoration develops with great discretion on the surface of the pieces: small flowering branches with daisies and stylized flowers in shades of pink, blue, yellow and green are arranged along the rim and, on some elements, on the central part. The result is bright and airy, with a deliberately essential decoration that leaves ample space for the whiteness of the porcelain. The plates feature a simple and harmonious shape, enhanced by a thin gold filet along the edge. The floral motif, repeated with slight variations on the different elements, gives the entire set a coordinated and refined character. The set is complete for 12 people and consists of 40 pieces in total: 12 flat plates 12 soup plates 12 appetizer or dessert plates 1 soup tureen 1 round tray 1 oval tray 1 salad bowl A pleasant and refined service, ideal for a bright and traditional table, but also for everyday use thanks to the simplicity of the shapes and the delicacy of the decoration. Excellent overall condition, the salad bowl seems to have had the gold reapplied that had faded.
