atural Fluorescent Hauyne (Hauynite) Rough Lot – Badakhshan, Afghanistan – 42 g Offering a rare and attractive lot of natural fluorescent Hauyne (Hauynite) rough from the Badakhshan mines of Afghanistan, with a total weight of approximately 42 grams comprising 60 individual pieces. This carefully selected parcel contains facet-grade rough pieces with an impressive combination of lustre, transparency, natural colour and size. The pieces have been hand-selected from a larger parcel, focusing on material with better transparency and jewellery potential. Several pieces are suitable for cutting into faceted gemstones, including sizes that can potentially produce attractive stones for rings and other jewellery. One of the most remarkable features of this lot is its fluorescence under UV light.
