Restelli (XX) - Natura morta con violino, candelabro e arancia

Artistic vision and emotional charm. Immerse your space in the poetic, quiet atmosphere of early 20th-century recording studios with this magnificent and evocative oil painting on panel. The work depicts a classic and romantic still life with an antique violin, an old metal candlestick, and a single vibrant orange resting on a richly decorated (draped) table. The painter, clearly signed "G. Restelli", showcases a spectacular tactile, post-impressionist approach. The thick, visible brushwork (textural painting) gives incredible depth and a three-dimensionality to the wooden body of the violin. The clever warm color palette is anchored to the deep amber tones of the instrument, splendidly contrasted with the bright, energetic citrus sphere in the foreground. This composition evokes a nocturnal artistic solitude, making it a highly sophisticated and decorative addition to any high-end music room, library, or modern, eclectic interior design project.
