Renzo Izzi (1929-1995) - Composizione

Renzo Izzi – Composition, 1965 Oil painting on canvas by Renzo Izzi, created in 1965. The work presents an abstract composition built through broad, concentric and sinuous shapes that develop around a central core. The movement of the lines generates a strong dynamic and almost hypnotic effect, heightened by the chromatic contrast between intense red, blue, dark green, and gray. The formal and color research gives the piece a decisive character, traceable to the abstract experiments of the second half of the 20th century. Technique: oil on canvas. Era: 1965. Dimensions of the work: 50 × 60 cm. Dimensions with frame: 54 × 63 cm. Signature: signed and dated 1965 at the bottom right.
