Rembrandt Harmensz van Rijn (1606-1669)

Beautiful anonymous engraving that reproduces in the same direction Rembrandt's etching depicting a semi-nude woman beside a stove, represented in V st./6, before the removal of the bonnet. An impression with margins, on laid paper, in excellent condition (see photo). Comes from a nineteenth-century edition of Rembrandt's works. In the upper right corner, the signature and date "Rembrandt f. 1658". A full-length profile of a woman, seated semi-nude beside a stove, with a long skirt and a cloth wrapped around the waist, the chest bare, a bonnet, the right arm extended, the left resting on the left leg; behind her a niche on the right a stove with ornaments.
