Relic of the True Cross of Jesus, with a wax seal and silk threads, shipping will be free, and will be carried out through Poste Italiane. The True Cross is the name given to the cross on which Jesus was crucified. The relic is said to have been found in Jerusalem in the year 327-328 by the mother of the Roman emperor Constantine I, Flavia Julia Elena. According to Christian tradition, the True Cross would have been partly kept in Jerusalem, partly in Constantinople and partly in Rome. The Jerusalem relic remained there until 1187, when its traces were lost after the capture of the Holy City by Saladin. In several places there are fragments that are believed to come from it. The reliquary does not contain human remains. This item is offered exclusively for its historical, cultural, or decorative value. No religious significance is claimed, implied, or supported.
