Rare Prestige/Ceremonial Necklace of the "Vere/Verre" ethnic group from Northeast Nigeria/Cameroon This ceremonial necklace comes from a south German collection liquidation. This ceremonial necklace, weighing 2375 grams, consists of 26 cast, spherical beads as well as a very large central bead, which is cushion-shaped and has a wide, bead-adorned rim. The whole necklace is strung on a cotton cord. Each bead was made using the lost-wax casting process. The small beads total 26 pieces have a diameter of 3 cm. The large bead has a diameter of 14.5 cm and a height of 11.5 cm. Material: Brass Size: Length 44 cm, necklace opened length 88 cm Weight: 2375 grams Shipping method: DHL insured parcel Condition: used, signs of age, the large bead has on one side of the surface a small material fracture.
