REICHEL (Hans). Hans Reichel. Paris, Musée d'Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, n.d. Large quarto, paperback with illustrated cover and flaps. A catalog devoted to Hans Reichel, a German painter associated with the European avant-garde and closely linked to the world of Paul Klee. The book traces his evolution toward a poetic abstraction in which organic forms, symbols, plant motifs, and geometric constructions come together to form a highly personal artistic language. Richly illustrated in black and white and in color, with several full-page reproductions of paintings and watercolors. Cover slightly rubbed; a fine copy.
