Rare pyromorphite aghiforme

From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose a rare group of crystals on a Pyromorphite matrix from Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme, Tarn, France. Moreover, it is characterized by acicular crystals of an intense green color gathered in drusy aggregates that cover a matrix enriched with iron oxides, with a clear color contrast and a rare provenance that increases its aesthetic value and mineralogical importance. The sample stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that enhance its natural structure and visual impact. Pyromorphite is a lead chlorophosphate that forms in the oxidation zone of lead ore deposits, often associated with limonite and other secondary lead minerals. Its intense green color is linked to the chemical composition of the species, which can vary from yellow to brown depending on substitutions present in the crystal lattice. The Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme mine, historically known mainly for zinc and germanium, represents an unusual and uncommon provenance for high-quality pyromorphite collectible specimens. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for very rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight tonal variations may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
