RAPHAËL MONNET - OCEAN RAIN - XXL

Unique and original work hand-painted by Raphaël Monnet Raphaël Monnet develops a contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes matter, rhythm and movement. He approaches the canvas as an experimental space. The painting is projected, accumulated, and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts intersect, some areas densify while others allow the background to breathe. His process does not rely on a pre-prepared image, but on a progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until an balance emerges between apparent disorder and pictorial organization. Based in the Léo Varek studio in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his research around projection and color superimposition. His works have an immediate presence at a distance and reveal, when approached, a multitude of details, nuances and unexpected encounters between the pigments. Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of the projections, the distribution of matter, and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced identically. Details of the work Technique: acrylic painting Support: cotton canvas Original work entirely handmade Unique piece Signed on the front Signed certificate of authenticity included Format and presentation The indicated dimensions correspond to the total size of the canvas. A portion painted on the periphery is intended to be folded over the sides of the stretcher, without encroaching on the main composition. Some images show the work styled in situ to facilitate its projection into an interior. They are created using the ArtStage staging software which produces AI mockups. Proportions may slightly vary depending on the setups. Please refer to the dimensions indicated in the description to know the actual size of the work. The edges are partially painted and allow for a clean finish after mounting. Shipping The work is shipped rolled in rigid protective packaging, without a frame or stretcher. A slight creasing may appear on receipt. This is perfectly normal for a canvas shipped rolled. These marks naturally disappear when the canvas is tensioned. For optimal results, it is recommended to have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer. Deliveries are made by express carrier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with careful tracking until delivery. Some destinations may incur additional shipping fees beyond my control. In such cases, the buyer will be informed before dispatch to adjust the fees if necessary. Without confirmation of these fees, shipment cannot be carried out. Additional information Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions. Frame and stretcher not included.
