Coral Series: Runway Description Coral represents a woman moving toward the horizon, captured from behind in a moment of movement and freedom. The white dress, streaked with pink and red, gains dynamism with every step and becomes an extension of the body. The landscape is built through planes of color evoking the sea, the sky, and a coastal architecture. The blues and greens create a serene atmosphere that contrasts with the intensity of the pink and red of the dress. The figure does not stop or pose: she walks. That choice gives the work a sense of independence, journey, and transformation. Contemporary Vision Within the Runway series, Coral presents a vision of fashion distant from conventional runway style. Here, the runway becomes an open space: a landscape where the woman advances, moves, and constructs her own path. The absence of the face shifts the interest toward the silhouette, the dress, and the movement. Identity is not in the character’s features, but in their attitude and in how they occupy space. Serra is a visual artist based in Spain whose practice centers on pictorial research and the mechanisms of image construction. His training in Plastic Arts, with a specialty in painting, along with later studies in graphic design, shapes a language that places painting in dialogue with the aesthetics and visual logics of digital culture. His work investigates memory as a process of editing and reconstruction, where lived and imagined memories converge to generate images that question the stability of representation. Through painting, he explores the tensions between presence and absence, experience and fiction, proposing scenes suspended between the intimate and the universal. Over the past decade he has developed an exhibition trajectory including group shows in national and international galleries, consolidating his presence in the context of contemporary art.
