PROUST — IN SEARCH OF LOST TIME, VOLUME II — PLÉIADE — 1973 PROUST (Marcel). In Search of Lost Time. II. Edited and introduced by Pierre Clarac and André Ferré. Paris, Gallimard, Bibliothèque de la Pléiade, 1973. In-12, publisher’s softcover bound in full brown leather, spine decorated with gold fillets and a green title label, under Rhodoid, with an illustrated slipcase. Volume No. 101 of the Bibliothèque de la Pléiade. Reprint completed on November 5, 1973, on Bible paper from Papeteries Bolloré. This second volume includes, notably, *The Guermantes Way* and *Sodom and Gomorrah*. This copy is notable for its illustrated Proust slipcase, which is significantly more decorative than the plain, unadorned volume itself. Based on the photographs, the set is in good overall condition; there are minor signs of wear on the Rhodoid and the slipcase.
