Prince Hubert de Polignac

An interesting and fascinating lot comprising two vintage bottles of French Cognac, ideal for enthusiasts and collectors of historic French spirits. The first bottle is a Prince Hubert de Polignac "Three Star" Cognac, with a volume of 70 cl and an alcohol content of 40% ABV. It was bottled by Cognac Prince H. de Polignac in Cognac (Charente), France, and imported by Distillerie F.lli Ramazzotti S.p.A. (Milan) under Milan UTIF License No. 1. The bottle dates back to [the 1980s] The second bottle is a Grand Empereur "Qualité Roi de Rome" Cognac by Etienne Gasqueton, with a volume of 75 cl and an alcohol content of 40% ABV. Bottled by Maison Grand Empereur in Cognac, France, it was imported by Orlandi Attilio (Milan) under Milan UTIF License No. 212. This is a vintage bottling from [the late 1960s to early 1970s] featuring a raised gold medallion on the front and a red wax seal on the neck. [The bottle has lost its Roi de Rome '40 ans' tag that was once around the neck - ES] Both bottles are in excellent overall condition, with excellent fill levels and clearly legible labels. Regarding the Prince Hubert de Polignac bottle, the paper tax strip is cut around the neck, but the original metal closure capsule beneath remains completely intact, securely sealed, and unopened. The Grand Empereur bottle retains the red wax seal on the neck that originally secured a period ribbon. Removing the seal left a small tear in the pink paper tax strip, but the underlying metal capsule remains intact, and the bottle is perfectly sealed. Shipped via tracked express courier using protective packaging designed for bottles. D ue to customs restrictions and national regulations regarding the import of spirits, shipping is not available to non-EU countries—including the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom—or to destinations where local laws prohibit the importation of alcohol by private individuals.
