Tutte le aste / Lampade / Pregiata Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Pennino oro bicolore 18kt

Valued Montblanc Meisterstück 149 produced in Germany in the 1990s. It has always been, due to its grand proportions and nib dimensions, the Maison's most iconic pen. Montblanc was nicknamed "Diplomat" because it was favored by great statesmen for signing international treaties (see John F. Kennedy, Mikhail Gorbachev, King Charles III, Nelson Mandela, John Paul II). It is exhibited at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art in New York). Body in fine black resin, with yellow-gold plated fittings. Bicolor nib in 18 Kt gold. Closed dimensions: 14.7 cm. Piston filling. The box with the white interior visible in some photos is not available, but only for display; the pen will be shipped with its original Montblanc vintage box and the "Certificate International Service" in white visible in the last two photos. The fountain pen is in excellent condition, with light signs of use. The 18Kt gold nib measures "F" in excellent condition, allowing smooth and steady writing. The filling mechanism is in good working order. Tracked and insured shipping with UPS.
