Precious gemstones have adorned people since the earliest times. But what makes a gemstone precious? On the one hand, of course, its rarity, but this alone is not enough: Its color and light, indeed its beauty, must also seduce and inspire. This ring has one of the most precious gemstones, an intense red ruby, at its center. Rubies of good quality and the same size are much more expensive than diamonds, and also more expensive than sapphires and emeralds. This is because they are much rarer to find. And because their color, the radiant color of love, is loved and revered in all cultures. The ruby presented here, weighing approx. 1.21 ct, is a rich dark red. It is set in white gold and is accompanied by eight brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds are also of exquisite quality and correspond to the color "Top Wesselton, G". In addition, they only show very small inclusions, so that their brilliance is perfect. The result is a classic design, completely reduced in its coloration and focused on the beauty of the rare gemstone at its center. The classic entourage ring was created around 1975. It is particularly suitable as an engagement ring or love gift for a special person. The ring, which was probably made in Germany, came to us from Munich. The independent appraisal by the German Gemstone Appraisal Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Edelsteinbewertung) shown here has confirmed its value. It is supplied with the ring.
