Its no secret that many Wyoming National Bank Notes are tightly held and treated as veritable trophies by a cadre of well-heeled collectors to the point where even common banks can be considered "rare" in relative terms. Institutions such as the First National Bank of Kemmerer (Charter# 5480) and the Wyoming National Bank of Casper (Charter# 10533) record sizable populations, but the First National Bank of Powell (Charter# 10265) represents a rarity those banks could never match. Here the National Bank Note Census records 29 notes overall, but that figure is largely comprised of $10s issued under the Series of 1902 and Series of 1929 while $20s by contrast are scarce in comparison and often well-circulated. This example would nonetheless become one of the finest T1 $20s recorded here once enumerated and affords one lucky collector the chance to further push the boundaries of an already exceptional collection worthy of a museum without even any regard to cost.
