A select group of 25 postcards sent to one Blanche Locock who was a seamstress to the aristocracy (Marchioness of Sligo, Lady Bradbourne , Lady Drummond Hay etc.) and trained at Miss Tattersall's in Martock, Somerset. Some of the cards are initialled 'T.C.' who we understand from the vendor was a military man, Col. T. Connor. Generally Edwardian examples. Some with messages to picture-side as cards not divided on the reverse. Contents inc. Naples with Vesuvius emitting smoke, Egypt, S.S. Orama (and S.S. Honor), Orient Line, Monte Carlo with bathing beauty on a donkey, Venice, Gibraltar, Constantinople, Beirut. And others.
