Tutte le aste / Altro / Porta celi - Porcel - Sculpture
Elegant stylized feline sculpture designed by Porcel for Porta-Celi, a Spanish decorative piece with a distinctly modernist aesthetic and very refined lines. The figure is made in ceramic earthenware, coated with a striking platinum metallic finish, whose polished surface reflects light and accentuates the sculptural forms of the cat. It sits on a solid light marble base with a travertine-like appearance, with a front plaque signed “Porcel”. It especially stands out for its original documentation: at the bottom it retains the Porta-Celi S.A. label, in which the manufacturer and the sculptor certify the originality of the work and its artisanal execution. This detail provides an important element of authenticity and provenance. The combination of traditional ceramic, the platinum finish, and the almost sculptural geometry of the figure makes the piece an attractive example of Spanish decorative art from the second half of the 20th century, particularly interesting for collectors of Porta-Celi, Spanish ceramics, and vintage decorative sculpture. Features: Author / signature: Porcel Manufacture: Porta-Celi S.A., Spain Main material: ceramic earthenware Finish: platinum metallic Base: light marble / travertine Height: 25 cm Approximate width: 10 cm Approximate weight: 1 kg Condition: very good condition With author plate and original Porta-Celi certification The mirrored surface may show reflections of the surrounding environment in the photographs, inherent to this type of metallic finish.
