Each work rests on a genuine, hand-applied and carved concrete surface, creating a mineral texture rich in roughness, cracks and irregularities. The painting then structures the whole, pairing the softness of white with the depth of a mauve-tinged pink and the intensity of black. At the heart of each composition, a black raised thread freely traces curves, loops and interlacing.
