In auction: a monumental, solid, and historic vintage instant camera from the era—the Polaroid Land Camera Model 160, produced in the United States by the Polaroid Corporation between 1960 and 1962. The lot presents in good overall condition, with normal signs of use and storage consistent with the age and history of the item. Mechanical: The operation has not been verified due to the absence of era-specific cartridges and film rollers. From a manual mechanical point of view, the front panel releases regularly and the metal linkages allow the expansion of the bellows along the lower rail up to the end-of-travel stop. The mechanical selectors on the front optical group are movable. Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The metal camera body retains its paintwork and the original textured coating in a dark gray shade with slight signs of handling, small localized superficial scratches, and the natural patina of time on the shiny metal finishes of the rail.
