Pocket watch: new old stock Hundertwasser designer watch in 18K gold

Ca. Ø43mm, ca. 74g, curved case in solid 18K gold, blackened (case consists of over 50g of 18K gold), crown set with a ruby, bezel marked with the numerals 1–12, special movement with double-sided time display, based on the Unitas 6497, multicoloured designer dial, multicoloured hands, still in its original protective film on the reverse, original ash wood watch box, which can also be used as a display stand, original brochure for the watch, as good as new. The Unitas 6497 movement has been further developed by lecturers and students at the Swiss Watchmaking School in Biel, enabling a second set of hands on the reverse to run anti-clockwise. Of the planned limited edition of 999 pieces, only 200 have actually been produced to date due to Hundertwasser’s sudden death. The price was 24,400 Swiss francs.
