Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland - Vase - 0.82/4 - Faience. - Monumental Gouda Vase

Upon invocation comes an impressive and rare monumental display vase from the renowned Dutch manufacturer Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) in Gouda. With a remarkable height of 38 cm and a diameter of 22 cm, this goblet-shaped vase is an absolute marvel of its era. The underside is fully hand-signed and features the sought-after decoration "Rhodian Holland." The Gouda-typical matte "Rhodian" glaze process captivates with its silk-maton surface that is slightly relief-like. The decoration shows a rhythmic, oriental Art Deco pattern of stylized floral triangles and ornaments in rust red, ochre, and deep cobalt blue, set against a dark green patinated ground. Hand-signed with decoration name, model number and the painter's monogram "F" / "FL" on the underside. Details: Manufacture: Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH), Gouda, Netherlands de Coralde: Rhodian (hand-painted) Model number: 0.82/4 (documented on the base) Signatures: Hand-signed with decoration name, model number and the painter's monogram "F" / "FL" on the underside.
