Picture frame - Gilt brass - 70s/80s Vintage

Vintage photo frame from the 1970s-1980s, manufactured by Spark of Florence (see photo). In Florence at that time several artisanal workshops were active, producing home accessories, frames, desk items, etc., in gold-toned metal, or in bronze or silver, and the label on the back certifies the craftsmanship and provenance. The frame has a circular silhouette and the upper edge is decorated with a shaped leaf and with the flower of a calla lily, probably in ivory-color resin (avoriolina) and with the inner pistil in brass. This frame is very representative of the taste and the kind of objects that were fashionable in those years. It is in good condition. It shows neither cracks nor dents. The metal has a natural patina and shows small spots of natural oxidation in several places (see photo), due to time, which however do not take away from the beauty and the peculiarity of the object.
