Petrus Regout - Ashtray (4) - Ceramic - Smokestack Petrus Regout

Very beautiful and complete antique smoking set by Petrus Regout & Co. Maastricht, manufactured in the first decades of the 20th century. The set consists of a large tray, ashtray, match holder and cigarette cup, executed in a decorative multi-colored floral decoration with red outlining. This smoking set is a splendid example of the earthenware with which Petrus Regout gained international fame. Not only interesting for collectors of Regout, Maastricht earthenware and antique smoking items, but also a decorative object that fits excellently within a classic, brocante, or Art Deco interior. Condition: Complete No chips No cracks No restorations The cigarette cup shows a few small cracks under the glaze. Given the age of over 100 years this is a minor sign of aging that does not detract from the appearance, rarity, and collectible value of the smoking set. Other parts are in very fine condition Very well preserved for an object of this age Brand: Petrus Regout & Co. Maastricht (stamp present).
