Peru - Flag - XXL National State Flag with Coat of Arms 490 x 95CM

Original Peruvian national flag with the national coat of arms in the center. The flag consists of the distinctive three vertical stripes in red, white and red, with the national emblem of Peru centered on the white stripe. The coat of arms is richly depicted and shows the main symbols of Peru. In the upper part are a vicuña and the Cinchona tree. In the lower red field sits a golden horn of plenty, from which coins fall. These three elements symbolize respectively the animal world, the plant world and Peru's mineral riches. The coat of arms is surrounded by green branches and crowned with the characteristic civic crown. Wikipedia The version with the coat of arms in the center pertains to the state flag, as opposed to Peru's simple civil flag without the coat of arms. The design of the Peruvian flag with the coat of arms in the central white stripe dates back to the 19th century; the current form of the national coat of arms was officially standardized in 1950.
