Patek Philippe - Naviquartz III "Marine Chronometer" - Ref. 1215 - Desk/Table Clock - Brass and Mahogany - 1970-1980 Announcement text: Splendid and exceptional specimen of the Patek Philippe Naviquartz III marine electronic chronometer, Reference 1215, originally conceived in the 1970s as a navigation and timekeeping system of extremely high precision for ships and yachts. Over time, this incredible instrument has transformed into an absolute status symbol and a prestigious desk art piece for luxury offices and collectors. The clock is elegantly set within a luxurious three-level box made of solid mahogany wood, finely finished. The front features a sumptuous brass-gilt plate on which the signature "Naviquartz" is engraved, and on the back there is a retractable stand that allows it to tilt and be displayed on the table with the box open— a piece of rare historical and collector’s significance, which combines the highest engineering of early quartz movements with Swiss quartz, timeless artisanal craftsmanship, and the exclusivity signed Patek Philippe.
