Pasquale Vuotto (1958) - Riflessi a Cetara

Oil painting on canvas 70x50 cm signed on the front and back with a description of the place: The work depicts a suggestive Mediterranean marine corner, presumably inspired by the Campanian coasts, featuring a cliffside village with historic buildings and warm terracotta tones. In the foreground, g lazy boats ride the calm harbor waters. On a blue boat in the foreground and on the white and yellow one a little farther away, some fishermen are busy tidying the fishing nets. The style recalls Impressionist painting and the Neapolitan Nineteenth Century, with a thick, palpable brushstroke (oil sgraffito) that gives great plasticity to the rocks, the volumes of the buildings, and the rippled movement of the water. The warm light of sunset or early morning caresses the façades of the houses and the cliff, creating a harmonious contrast with the blue, indigo and violet hues of the sea. complete with certificate of authenticity with photo! brochure and my authenticity stamp , upon request a personal dedication on the certificate or behind the canvas Pasquale Vuotto is an Italian contemporary painter and poet, born in Naples in 1958.
