A0000006655 Article: PARKER PARKETTE FOUNTAIN PEN IN MARBLED CELLULOID GREEN AND BLACK, WITH GOLD CLIP AND DOUBLE GOLD RINGS Length: 12.3 cm Diameter: 1.2 cm Nib: F Period: 1930s (production of the Parkette range between 1932 and 1941) Materials: Body and cap in marbled celluloid in jade green and black tones, with translucent veining; faceted clip and double cap rings in gold-tone metal, with the Parker shield engraved at the head of the clip; black threaded nib holder; steel nib engraved "PARKETTE – MADE IN USA". Condition: Good condition for a vintage piece. The celluloid retains its gloss and the marbling is clear, with signs of use and micro-scratches spread over the body and cap, and slight loss of plating on the clip and the gold rings, where the base metal shows through. The nib appears intact and well aligned, with legible engravings. Sold as a collectible piece, with no guarantee of writing usability.
