The green lacquer is intact, with a deep, uniform shine, no chipping, scratches, or noticeable dings; gold plating on the clip, center ring, and fittings is well preserved, with micro-scratches and slight wear visible only in backlight on the stepped ends. Nib intact, well aligned, and free of bends, with correct iridium points. Black section clean and crack-free.
