Parastone - after Magritte - Statuette, La Folie des Grandeurs - 17.5

In excellent/mint condition, including storage boxes and certificates. Made of polystone, hand-painted by skilled craftsmanship at Parastone. La Folie des Grandeurs (1967) In the last year of Magritte's life, the well-known gallerist Alexandre Iolas asked him whether he had ever considered making sculptures as well. The painter had certainly considered it, but those would have to be solely sculptures based on motifs from his paintings. The lot is well packed and sent by registered mail.
