Ca. 500 BC. A pair of gold bracelets, each with a hollow circular hoop tapering to confronted animal head finials. The hoops are decorated in repousse and chasing with elongated petals, foliate motifs and ribbed collars. Beaded borders run along the inner edges, with further granulated bands framing the terminals. Each animal head has circular eyes, almond-shaped ears and incised facial details. Size: 95-100mm x 90-90mm; Weight: 105g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s�2000. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
