Pair of Malachite Obelisks Malachite - Height: 394 mm...

Exclusive Precious Specimen — This splendid pair of obelisks is made entirely of natural malachite, using a refined mosaic technique that maximizes the distinctive features of this stone. Each surface shows the unmistakable pattern of malachite, with its concentric swirls, bands and veins of deep green that intertwine in hypnotic and natural motifs, transforming the stone into a true work of art. The obelisks, symbol of power and connection between heaven and earth since ancient Egypt, are here reinterpreted as precious furnishing elements: elegant lines and slender proportions join with the chromatic strength of malachite, creating an object that is not only decorative but also rich in symbolic meanings. The mosaic work allows surfaces to be perfectly smooth and continuous, reflecting light evenly, highlighting the intensity of the greens and the variety of natural patterns of the stone. Objects like these were highly valued already in the Russian imperial courts and in European noble residences of the 19th century, where malachite was considered among the most precious ornamental stones. This pair of obelisks presents itself as a prestigious furnishing complement, perfect for enriching elegant interiors, studies, drawing rooms or environments that require a touch of luxury. Each piece is at once sculpture, symbol, and precious fragment of nature transformed into art.
