Pair of gilded armchairs with arms and original upholstery. European

Descriptio Carved and gilded wood with textile upholstery. Dimensions: 120 x 69 cm. Set of two high-backed armchairs with molded arms, featuring a gilded frame and Rococo carving that emphasizes scrolls and floral motifs. The period upholstery, in burgundy tones with plant decoration, retains its original character, lending authenticity. The design combines comfort and decorative richness, typical of late 19th-century living room furniture, in which the reinterpretation of French Rococo is associated with a language of prestige and ostentation. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
