Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - Balzac IV y Balzac VIII

Balzac IV and Balzac VIII Unified provenance (Plus de Valor): That both share the same lot number 9223 increases their commercial appeal. For an appraiser, this demonstrates a clean collecting history, guaranteeing that they come from the Galerie Louise Leiris official distribution. Condition: The edges with intact deckle and the absence of binding trim keep the value in its optimal range. Any trace of old glue on the reverse or severe fading from direct sunlight (acid stains) could reduce their quotation by 20% to 30%. Reproduced vs. manual signature: Since they are signed only in-plate (stamp-signed / in the stone), their value is very accessible and stable.
