Lot of 3 Issued Stock Certificates, Includes: 1818, Bank of Germantown (Philadelphia, Pa.), 20 Shares I/U Stock Certificate, printed by Jacob Rakestraw with early Federal-era typographic layout; 1843, Farmers & Mechanics Bank of Georgetown (District of Columbia), 159 Shares I/U Stock Certificate Issued to a Maryland resident, exhibiting early Georgetown banking style with manuscript completion, VF with rough left margin with small tears; and, 1864, Octoraro Bank (Pa.), 8 Shares Stock I/C Certificate with engraved eagle vignette and adhesive revenue stamp per Civil War taxation.
