Ca. AD 1500 - 1700 A silver ring with a tapering, flat-section hoop and a raised rectangular bezel set with a carnelian intaglio engraved with a two-line Arabic inscription. The setting has a moulded frame with beaded borders along its sides, and the shoulders are decorated with engraved geometric patterns of intersecting lines.
